“Venom: The Last Dance” is now streaming.

Directed by Kelly Marcel, Venom: The Last Dance is reportedly the final chapter in the Tom Hardy-led saga, following 2018’s Venom and 2021’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage. “Eddie and Venom are on the run,” the official synopsis reads for the third film reads. “Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie’s last dance.” In addition to Hardy, The Last Dance cast includes Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach, and Stephen Graham.
The superhero film has earned $472 million worldwide at the box office, including $139 million from domestic sales and $333 million from international sales, according to Box Office Mojo. As of Dec. 9, the film ranks as the eighth highest-grossing movie of 2024, positioned between Kung Fu Panda 4 and Wicked.
Venom: The Last Dance has received mixed reviews from both critics and audiences. The film currently holds a 41% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes, while fans seemed to love the sequel much more, rating the movie at 81%.
Drew Taylor, a senior writer at The Wrap, called the third installment the best of the Venom movies. “It’s not perfect but it’s super entertaining and there’s a giant monster that chews people up and sprays blood out of the back of its head. Pretty nuts,” he wrote. Rotten Tomatoes-approved critic Josh Wilding praised Venom: The Last Dance as “the most cinematic, monumental #Venom movie to date.”

When Will Venom: The Last Dance Be Streaming On Netflix?
Venom: The Last Dance will eventually be streaming on Netflix, but the release date has not yet been announced. Netflix holds the streaming rights to Venom: The Last Dance thanks to a multi-year agreement made with Sony in 2021.
The superhero movie is expected to arrive on Netflix approximately six months after its theatrical release, which would be around April 2025. However, there is a chance that Venom: The Last Dance could be available on Netflix sooner based on the release patterns of other Sony films this year.
